M/A-COM is a manufacturer of Thing
magic developed UHF range of RFID reader Thing Magic
is a leading developer of radio frequency identification
range of products.
RFID Reader: Thing magic’s
Mercury 4 Agile reader, it can be communicated with
RS-232 serial interface or Ethernet 10/100 Base-T
or USB. It operates from 230volts AC power. Operating
frequency range is 902 -928 MHz. and 865 -868 MHz.
Air interface protocol compatible with EPC Class
1, Generation 1 and Generation 2,ISO 18000-6B/Unicode
1.19. Antenna configuration 1 and 4 antennas separate
for transmit and receive, 4W EIRP. Meet FCC part
15, UL 60950,CAN/CSA C22.2 No.60950, Canada RSS
210 ETSI EN 302 208-1 regulatory standards. Support
TCP/IP, H TTP and NTP network protocol. Connection
protocol is Thing Magic’s Reader query Language
(RQL).
Antenna: Antennas are the key
to RFID success. Antenna perform three things, it
delivery power to Tag, it transmits data and receive
signal. It is front end of your RFID deployment,
and may need to survive in extreme, real world conditions
that includes dust, shock, vibration and very high
and low temperatures. The Thing magic Mercury 4
antennas are designed based on all above factor
in mind. It uses separate transmit and receive elements
to power tags at great distance in any orientation;
is tuned and focused to send clean data and receive
even weak signal; and is tough enough to withstand
hostile deployment conditions. It is made of Aluminum
and polycarbonate, with dual polarization and with
connectors.
